Our approach

Vertex Aerial Solutions operates from Las Vegas, working with asset owners, operators, contractors, and technical partners who need accurate visual records of large or difficult-to-access assets.

The work is deliberately focused. Rather than offering aerial services for every possible subject, Vertex concentrates on renewable-energy assets, commercial and industrial property, construction projects, and spatial documentation — the situations where organized aerial data changes how a decision gets made.

We describe ourselves as a data acquisition company because that is what we do. Vertex captures, organizes, and delivers. The engineering judgment, diagnostic conclusion, or certification stays with the qualified professional who owns that responsibility.

Operating principles

These are the commitments that shape how a Vertex project runs.

  • Scope before flight

    Every project starts by agreeing what is being documented and which outputs you receive. Undefined scope produces data nobody can use.

  • Capture, not conclusions

    Vertex acquires and organizes data. Interpretation belongs to your engineers, contractors, consultants, or certified specialists. We are explicit about that boundary on every service page.

  • Repeatability matters

    Planned waypoints and consistent viewpoints are what turn a set of photographs into a record you can compare against next quarter.

  • Airspace and site discipline

    Flights are planned around airspace class, authorizations, site hazards, and access constraints before mobilization, not on arrival.

  • Organized delivery

    Data is delivered in a structure that matches how your team refers to the asset, rather than as an undifferentiated folder of camera filenames.

How a project runs

From defined scope to reviewable data

Every engagement follows the same sequence, so you know what happens before, during, and after the flight.

  1. Project scope and deliverables

    We agree what the asset is, what needs documenting, and exactly which outputs you receive. Scope is defined before anything is flown.

  2. Airspace, site, access, and mission planning

    Airspace is checked and authorizations obtained where required. Site access, hazards, and the capture pattern are planned in advance.

  3. RGB, thermal, video, or mapping-oriented capture

    Missions are flown to the agreed pattern. Thermal capture is scheduled for conditions that make it useful rather than simply convenient.

  4. File organization and quality review

    Imagery is checked for coverage and usability, then organized into a folder structure that matches how your team refers to the asset.

  5. Delivery for client or specialist analysis

    Organized data is delivered for review by your team, your contractor, your insurer, or a qualified specialist.

Vertex publishes only verified qualifications. Where a credential is not held, we say so rather than implying it.

Why the platform matters to your deliverable

  • RGB and thermal on one aircraft Visual and thermal capture happen in the same mission, so both data sets describe the same site on the same day under the same conditions.
  • Repeatable waypoint capture Planned flight paths can be flown again later, which is what makes period-over-period comparison meaningful rather than approximate.
  • FAA Part 107 operation Flights are conducted under Part 107, with airspace checked and authorizations obtained where a site requires them.

Credentials Vertex does not hold

Stating this plainly protects your project as much as ours. Vertex is not:

  • A licensed land-surveying firm. Mapping outputs are not boundary surveys and are not survey-grade.
  • An engineering firm. We do not issue engineering conclusions or structural assessments.
  • A thermography-certification body. We do not issue certified thermographic reports.
  • A non-destructive testing provider. We perform no NDT of any kind.
  • GWO certified or equipped for rope access or technician-at-height work.
  • A software platform. We do not provide automated or AI-based defect analytics.

Where a project requires any of the above, Vertex captures the data and works alongside the qualified party who provides it.

What you receive

Deliverables

Outputs are agreed during scoping. What follows is the range available; a given project includes the subset that fits its purpose.

  • High-resolution RGB imagery

    Full-resolution visual capture across the agreed site extent, organized by area or asset.

  • Thermal image sets

    Thermal capture where irradiance, weather, and timing support a useful mission. Suitability is confirmed during scoping.

  • Video documentation

    Continuous video of site conditions, elevations, or specific areas where a still set is not enough.

  • Repeatable progress views

    Matched viewpoints captured across dates, so change is visible rather than inferred.

  • Organized asset and area folders

    A delivery structure that follows your block, building, or turbine naming rather than raw camera filenames.

  • Orthomosaic and 3D outputs

    Produced when the selected mapping workflow includes them. These are documentation products, not survey instruments.

Written reports are provided only where a defined reporting process forms part of the agreed scope. Vertex delivers organized data for review by your team or a qualified specialist.

Certificates of insurance and any site-specific documentation your project requires can be provided during scoping. Please raise the requirement in your inquiry so it can be addressed before mobilization.
